Refund and Cancellation Policy

Summary

You are eligible for a refund of the full purchase amount if your request is made within 7 days of purchase AND you have not started Module 2 (path-specific content). Module 1 serves as your trial period to evaluate the product.

1. Scope and Application

This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to all purchases made onNorthStarDesi, including Focus and Complete plans. By making a purchase, you agree to be bound by this Policy.

2. Eligibility for Refunds

A refund will be denied if either of the following conditions is met:

Condition A: Time Window

More than 7 calendar days have elapsed since your purchase date.

Condition B: Content Access

You have accessed path-specific content by starting Module 2 of your learning track. Module 2 contains proprietary, path-specific strategies that constitute the core value of the course.

Meeting either condition independently disqualifies you from receiving a refund.

3. Module 1 as Trial Period

Module 1 ("Foundation") serves as an evaluation period during which you may assess the quality and value of our content. Module 1 includes:

  • Onboarding and goal-setting exercises
  • Universal communication and professional skills training
  • Case study creation tools
  • Access to select templates and resources

Completing Module 1 does not disqualify you from a refund. Only accessing Module 2 content triggers the content access condition.

4. How to Request a Refund

  1. Send an email to admin@northstardesi.com with subject line "Refund Request - [Your Email Address]"
  2. Include your registered email address and reason for the request
  3. Submit within the 7-day window
  4. Ensure you have not accessed Module 2 content

We will review your request within 5-7 business days.

5. Refund Processing

  • Payment Method: Refunds are credited to your original payment method
  • Processing Time: 7-14 business days depending on your bank
  • Amount: Full purchase amount as charged at the time of purchase
  • Access: Your access will be revoked upon refund approval

6. Non-Refundable Situations

  • Request made after 7 days from purchase
  • Module 2 (path-specific content) has been accessed
  • Change of mind after accessing path-specific content
  • Technical issues on your end (internet, device compatibility)
  • Dissatisfaction with results (results depend on individual effort)
  • Changes to platform content, features, or tools made as part of normal product updates (see Section 5 of our Terms of Service)
  • Purchases made using promotional codes are eligible for refund of the amount actually paid (unless otherwise stated)
  • If you have previously received a refund for a NorthStarDesi purchase, subsequent purchases are non-refundable

7. Exceptions

We may grant refunds outside the standard policy in exceptional circumstances:

  • Defective Content: Course content is materially different from advertised or technically inaccessible due to our issues
  • Duplicate Charges: Accidental double billing or system errors
  • Unauthorized Transactions: Fraudulent use of your payment method (requires documentation)

8. Chargebacks and Disputes

We encourage you to contact us before initiating a chargeback. Chargebacks filed without first contacting us may be contested using our records:

  • Timestamped records of content access and lesson completion
  • Consent acknowledgments with cryptographic signatures
  • IP address and device information at time of purchase
  • Template downloads and resource usage

Filing a fraudulent chargeback may result in permanent account suspension.

9. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this Policy limits your statutory rights as a consumer under the applicable laws of your jurisdiction. If you are a consumer in India, your rights may include:

  • Right to be informed about goods and services
  • Right to seek redressal against unfair trade practices
  • Right to access consumer dispute redressal forums

10. Upgrades

A refund covers the total amount paid, including any upgrade payment. Partial refunds are not available. Upon approval, access is fully revoked. You may repurchase at any time.

11. Modifications to This Policy

We may modify this Policy at any time. Changes are effective upon posting with an updated date. The Policy in effect at the time of your purchase governs your refund eligibility.
